Member Programs
Over the years, the Pool has provided stability, and in many cases reduced Member Districts insurance costs by utilizing the combined purchasing power and financial size of the Pool. Even non-member Districts have benefited by the competitive role the Pool has played in the public sector insurance marketplace.
The Water and Sewer Risk Management Pool, has established seven major coverage programs for the Member Districts. These programs are described later in this report and include: General Liability, Property, Excess Liability, Public Officials Liability, Business Automobile, and Crime Coverage.

The Water & Sewer Risk Management Pool was created in 1987 in response to the hard commercial insurance market of the early 1980s that left many public entities without sufficient or affordable insurance. The WSRMP provides comprehensive, long-term stable protection to its members including:

The WSRMP also provides a wide spectrum of risk management and loss control services to its members including:

S.O.R.T. COMMITTEE:
A group of employees from member districts working as a team to write safety programs for the Pool membership. Each program is written in compliance with the Washington Administrative Code requirements and is reviewed by industry experts. These programs are timely, relevant and extremely useful. S.O.R.T. has released over 30 programs.
