¨       LAST MONTH”S PROGRAMS

·         Annual Review of Programs – Tabled until next month.  Drew and Keith have some additional information they would like added to the program.

·         Chlorine Safety – Members would like a section added about hypochlorite solution.  The information on chlorine gas should be reduced since this is becoming less relevant to districts.  Bill and Randy will make these revisions and bring it back to the committee next month for review.

¨       PROGRAM REVIEW

·         Lockout/Tagout – Randy distributed a draft of the program he is working on with Robert.  The revised program will be based on WAC 296-24-110 rather than WAC 296-45, which does not apply to districts.  Comments are due back by the next meeting.

·         Hazard Communication – Robert will change the program based on the new core safety codes.

·         Meter Reading – Tabled until next month since Kurt was not present with his program.

¨       POOL REPRESENTATIVE

·      Dan suggested adding an article in each issue of the SORT Report from Robert that would address issues from the committee chair.

·      The Pool signed the agreement with Prezant to have Rick Gleason provide Respiratory Protection training.  Dan will try to coordinate a meeting with Keith, Rick and himself to discuss the training elements and emphasis.

·      Dan shared an article about the Supreme Court voting 9-0 to not include repetitive motion injuries under ADA.

¨       VIDEO REVIEW

·         POOL#31 – Tank Closure Without Tears.  Not relevant to our districts.

·         POOL#32 – Trenching & Shoring. Worth keeping even though it is based on OSHA standards rather than WISHA standards.

¨       The next meeting will be on February 13th at King County Water District #19 on Vashon Island.
