¨ CHAIR ELECTIONS

• Elections were held in December for Chair and Vice Chair positions.  Brian received the most votes and was elected Chair for 2006.  Jason will serve as Vice Chair.

¨ INTRODUCTIONS

• Brian opened the meeting at 9:05am.  Darren introduced Dale Webb.  Dale will be replacing Darren on SORT while Darren serves as interim supervisor for Karcher Creek Sewer District.

¨ PENDING PROGRAMS

• Vehicle/Fleet Safety – Committee made suggestions.  Keith will update and bring back to February meeting for further review.
• SARA Title III – Dan passed out copies of the program for the committee to look over and comment on at next meeting.

¨ VIDEOS

• Gopher Guide to Safe Digging – The committee reviewed this video and believes it is a good one to keep in the library.

¨ 2006 PROGRAMS, TRAINING & MEETING SCHEDULE

• Ten programs are on the docket to review for this year.   The committee finalized the meeting schedule for the year.

¨ ROUNDTABLE

• Dan mentioned that the American Society of Safety Engineers is holding their national conference in Seattle, June 11 – 15.  It’s a great opportunity for safety training and gathering safety resources.

¨ The meeting adjourned at 2:35 p.m.

¨ The next meeting is February 21 at Coal Creek Utility District.
